IWIF
and NFIB offer workers’ comp safety
dividend plan to small business
(TOWSON, MD)—IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance and
the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation’s
largest small business advocacy group, recently introduced a workers’ compensation
safety dividend program to Maryland-based NFIB members.
The IWIF/NFIB Safety Dividend Program is designed so small businesses
understand the importance of workplace safety and can join together
to lower their workers’ compensation insurance expenses by
earning dividends based on their safety performance.
“
We are proud to be in partnership with NFIB,” says George
Matthews, IWIF Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business
Development. “This safety program gives both IWIF and NFIB
the chance to help Maryland employers and their employees reap
the benefits of workplace safety. Focusing on safe operations not
only keeps workers injury-free and healthy, it also reduces costs
and improves productivity.”
Established in 1914, IWIF is the leading writer of workers’ compensation
insurance in Maryland.
NFIB is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1943
and represents the consensus views of its 600,000 members in Washington,
D.C. and all 50 state capitals.
