IWIF wins 12 communications, PR awards
(TOWSON, MD) –Three separate organizations have recently
awarded IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Maryland’s
largest workers’ compensation insurance company, 12 awards
for excellence in communications and public relations. The awarding
organizations include Insurance Marketing and Communications Association,
IMCA; Public Relations Society of America, Maryland Chapter, PRSAMD;
and American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds,
AASCIF.
IMCA awarded IWIF with a Best in Show award for its public relations
campaign entry, “Safety Saves Week-2005.” The award
was presented to IWIF during IMCA’s annual meeting held June
25-28 in San Francisco. IMCA is an international organization of
insurance communications professionals specializing in marketing,
communications, advertising, sales promotions, public relations
and media relations.
The Maryland Chapter of PRSA honored IWIF with six Awards of Excellence
on June 29 during the PRSA awards banquet at the Grand Tremont
in Baltimore. Winning categories included: Public Service; Newsletters;
Annual Report; Pubic Service Announcements for television and radio;
and Feature Stories.
AASCIF honored IWIF with five awards during its annual meeting
on June 19 in Branson, Missouri. Winning categories included: Audio
Visual Productions; Information Kits; External Newsletters; Print
Media Advertisements; and Excellence in Writing. AASCIF is an association
of workers' compensation insurance companies from 27 different
states, plus 10 workers' compensation boards in Canada.
