Lester E. Groff recognized as a Silver CSP

Groff holds Certified Safety Professional credential for 20 years

(TOWSON, MD) –In December 2006 the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, headquartered in Savoy, Ill., recognized Lester E. Groff, IWIF Sr. Loss Control Consultant, as a Silver CSP. Groff received the Board’s recognition for maintaining the Certified Safety Professional® credential for 20 years. Groff acquired the CSP credential in 1986 after meeting the professional challenge of validating competency through education, experience, and examination. Groff continues to meet the recertification requirements in order to maintain his CSP credential.

According to the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, the CSP credential is the most sought after safety certification in the U.S., globally recognized as a symbol of expertise in the safety profession. CSPs specialize in protecting workers, the public, property, and the environment by identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards.

Groff has been a valuable employee of IWIF’s Loss Control department for the past nine years. Founded in 1914, IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance is the largest provider of workers’ compensations insurance in Maryland.
