IWIF issues dividend to building materials dealers

(TOWSON, MD)--IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance issued a group safety dividend in the amount of $155,349 to policyholders participating in the Building Materials Dealers Program. The policyholders earned the safety dividend for controlling losses and preventing workplace injuries for accident year 2007.

“Participants in the Building Materials Dealers Program deserve this dividend,” says George L. Matthews, IWIF Executive Vice President of Insurance Operations. “They made a commitment to improve safety in their workplaces, and now their efforts are paying off.”

Currently, IWIF manages 15 safety groups and association programs designed to improve workplace safety and save policyholders money.

Established in 1914, IWIF is the largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance in Maryland.
