Personal information is collected in order to allow agents, policy-holders (including the State of Maryland under a Third-Party Administration contract) and claimants to use IWIF’s e-services to transact business with IWIF, including receiving premium quotes, applying for policies of insurance, requesting Certificates of Insurance, filing First Reports of Injury and paying premiums through credit cards and electronic fund transfers. In addition, we collect personal information from third-parties, including medical providers, to allow IWIF to pay medical claims incurred on behalf of claimants.

"Personal information" is information about an individual that can be used to identify that person (e.g. a natural person as opposed to a corporate entity, including an individual’s name, address, phone number or other identifier). A domain name or Internet protocol address is not considered personal information. Personal information is collected through this website either through an online transaction or if you send an e-mail to IWIF.

IWIF is strongly committed to protecting personal information collected through this website or otherwise against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
